Do I Qualify For Cosmetic Dentistry?
If you are interested in having a straighter or whiter smile, then cosmetic dentistry is an excellent option for you. Cosmetic dentistry can alter your smile if you are unhappy with it due to crooked, discolored, or broken teeth.
Will I require sedation for cosmetic dental procedures?
During cosmetic treatments, most people do not require a high amount of sedation; nonetheless, you may get the level of sedation required for your surgery. This may depend on your health and medical history, the operation being performed, and your dentist’s advice.
What may be done if fillings are old and not pretty?
Old, ugly fillings can now be replaced with filling materials that are more aesthetically pleasing, including dental resins, porcelain fillings, or porcelain crowns. It is no longer required to have dark silver fillings because there are now safe, long-lasting alternatives.
What Treatment Options Exist for Missing Teeth?
We will explore the optimal course of action for you. Bridges can be used to replace missing teeth by filling the gaps left by missing teeth and supporting the teeth next to and opposite the missing teeth. In addition, a dental implant may be indicated to replace the void.
What tooth whitening options are available if I wish to whiten my teeth?
- If you have stained or discolored teeth but generally enjoy your smile, whitening procedures may be all you need to achieve the smile you’ve always desired. There are several methods to whiten teeth. One is an in-office bleaching procedure, while the other is a dentist-supervised at-home whitening technique.

What is the bonding application?
It is the process where bonding material and tooth-colored composite resin are applied only to the desired areas without removing the tissue from the tooth surface.
In what cases is bonding applied?
Bonding application is an easy and inexpensive cosmetic application. It is especially used to close the spaces between the teeth, to change the shape of the teeth (e.g., showing the teeth long) and their colors.
What is the process of bonding application?
This process takes about 30-60 minutes. If more than one tooth needs to be applied with bonding, several appointments may be needed. After the tooth surface is roughened, the bonding material and tooth-colored composite resin are applied to the tooth and polished.

What should I pay attention to after the bonding application?
Within the first 48 hours, it is necessary to avoid colored food and drinks as much as possible in order to prevent stains or to minimize the formation of stains. Tea, coffee, cigarettes cause discoloration of the resin material used in bonding application.
You should both take care of your teeth regularly (toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, interface brush), and not neglect your routine dentist checks and the scaling of your tartar. Composite resin is not as strong as natural tooth.
Your composites can break when you bite or chew on hard objects. Bonding application lasts for several years and may need to be renewed later.
What are the differences between composite laminates and porcelain laminates?
Composite laminates are easily repaired when broken, and the construction takes place in one session.
Porcelain laminates, on the other hand, are harder to repair when broken. Porcelain laminates are less likely to discolor with food and drink over time, whereas composite laminates can discolor more easily. Since porcelain laminates are more transparent and thinner, they provide a more natural appearance compared to composite laminates.
How are composite laminates applied?
Today, composite materials are very advanced, and it is possible to provide the desired color, transparency and aesthetics. The anterior surfaces of the teeth are slightly roughened to provide retention for the composite lamina. It is applied by gluing and shaping special filling materials to the tooth without the need for any anesthetic process.
Do I feel pain during the composite laminate construction stage?
There is no pain during the procedure, and there is usually no need for anesthesia.

I would like to share my views after about 3 months of treatment. First, I researched many countries and spoke to many clinics.
The clinic we went to for my fiancée's wisdom tooth extraction was so hygienic and sterilized, similar to the Covid days. The staff welcomed us with smiling faces, and the attention of the employees & the workmanship of the doctors were all perfect. I really recommend this dental clinic for anyone who wants dental care.
We started our dental treatment with Mr. Çağkan last week and it was completed today. This man is simply professional and friendly ! I would recommend a very successful dentist like him, along with his friendliness and sincerity to everyone.
I went there for a Wisdom tooth extraction and a root canal treatment. I would like to thank all Optimum Oral and Dental Health Center employees, especially Dr. Çağkan and Ms. Seren, for their high interest in my case and concern about my dental health. It is a super hygienic dental care center. Wishing them the best of luck !
