Compared to traditional x-ray methods, a digital x-ray emits 90% less x-rays and priorities the general health of the patient. The panoramic x-ray (orthopantomograph) available at Optimum Dental Turkey can easily take your full maxilla and full mandible x-ray and due to its advanced technology, you are exposed to much less x-rays.
Other imaging techniques used in our clinic are periapical digital x-ray and bitewing digital x-ray. In single-tooth treatments, only the x-ray of the area to be treated is taken and an effective imaging is provided with as less “x” rays as possible.
All our patients whose x-rays are taken in our clinic are dressed in lead aprons and lead-coated thyroid protectors, thus minimizing their exposure to x-rays.
